This book features a collection of 40 album cover designs for the song Modern Crusaders by Enigma. I focused on creating typographic designs by solely using the typeface of Baskerville. Click ︎ for the whole book.

Selected designs across all chapters. Each chapter focuses on a certain design element: point size, bold and italics, blocks and shapes, punctualtions and color... Each design explores one aspect of the song: its theme, its story, its sounds, its texture...
设计选自书中各章节。每一个章节都遵循实践一种设计元素：字体大小，粗体斜体，块面与形状，标点符号与颜色等。而每一个设计都探索歌曲中的不同方面：如主题，故事，语境，音色，质感等。

A unique form is devised to：
1. support the space of reading with minimal material,
2. prompt the process of thinking, just as “solving” the enigma.
A big sheet of paper is trimmed into a sheet of 29x14.5 inches. It is then printed in both sides and folded into a booklet 1/8 of its size (7.25x7.25in). After three cuts and some folds, the booklet can be read both horizontally and vertically. Only 5 sheets are needed for the whole book. After attaching the semi-transparent info pages, the booklets are contained in craft paper bags and packaged in an album folder.
为了以尽可能少的材料为阅读过程提供足够空间，同时鼓励读者参与解读歌曲并思考设计的过程，书本采用一种独特的方式进行装订：
将一张原纸修剪成29x14.5英寸的版面进行双面印刷。折叠至原尺寸1/8的大小（7.25英寸x7.25英寸）并右如图所示切开三次，即形成可从横纵两个方向阅读的小册子。全书印刷只需用五张纸。将半透明的说明附页贴好后，将五本小册子分别放入牛皮纸袋。最后采用唱片匣形式的外包装进行装订。
